His Plan

“For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.” (Romans 8:29-30, NASB)

God’s plan for you does exist, and His plan is the best for your soul.

The Last Word

“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11, NASB)

God had the first word and He will also have the last.

Look Up

But You, Lord, are a shield around me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. Psalm 3:3 (NASB)

For the follower of Jesus: Even when you think you are alone, you are not.

Sobering.

Beware of intoxication by amusement.

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

God Paved the Road

A highway will be there, a roadway,
And it will be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean will not travel on it,
But it will be for the one who walks that way,
And fools will not wander on it.
No lion will be there,
Nor will any vicious animal go up on it;
They will not be found there.
But the redeemed will walk there, Isaiah 35:8-9

There is a road God paved for you. Will you take it?

Using Quality Materials?

“Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like:  he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when there was a flood, the river burst against that house and yet it could not shake it, because it had been well built.” Luke 6:47-48 (NASB)

Everyday we each are building our life for here on earth and for eternity. The question to ask in both cases is:

“What quality is the material with which I built today?”

Weather Control

When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying,, "You are truly God's Son!" Matthew 14:32-33 (NASB)

Occasionally, humanity can predict the weather, but only God can stop it.
