A Minute for Musing God’s Message to You

Present Regardless!

And he said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are greater than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes so that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:16-17 (NASB)

Remember – God is present even if you do not see Him.

Be Courageous!

“So the Spirit of the Lord covered Gideon like clothing; and he blew a trumpet, and the Abiezrites were called together to follow him.” Judges 6:34 (NASB)

Throughout the Old Testament we read that the Spirit of the Lord came to individuals and led them to be and do courageous things. Today, God’s Spirit lives within Christ’s followers. How much more, then, should we be able to follow His lead and be courageous in our life? Train and ready the Spirit within you by daily reading God’s Word.

Strategy

For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men. 1 Peter 2:15

The secret strategy of the righteous is following Christ.

Promise Keeper

“Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; everything  came to pass.” Joshua 21:45

It’s good to know God can be trusted.

Offer and Be Amazed

“…He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looked up toward heaven. He blessed the food and breaking the loaves, He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. And they all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up what was left over of the broken pieces: twelve full baskets. Matthew 14:19-20 (NASB)

Whatever you have that you offer to God, He will take and do amazing things!

Who’s Your Coach?

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1

Stay focused. Be diligent. Let God be your Coach, and you will finish well.

Why the Storm?

… tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; Romans 5:3b-4 (NASB 1995)

God will allow struggles when He knows we need the knowledge and wisdom that comes from it.

Amazing!

By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3

Never doubt what God can do through you!

Designed for Purpose

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Psalm 139:16-17 (NASB 1995)

You are a precious jewel in the hands of God. Never doubt your value! God has designed you like no one else, and He has a purpose only you can fulfill.
